Transition Seminar in Kibbutz Eyal

Last week, the Stage One young adults from Lamerhav House in Hod Hasharon went on a seminar dealing with the transition from Stage One to Stage Two. This seminar is an annual highlight event, which is part of the process of providing guidance and support to young adults from the 12th grade, through the transition period until they join the IDF. Following Stage One, the young adults either join the IDF or the national service, and move to Stage Two.

20 young adults and staff members enjoyed two fun-filled days in Kibbutz Eyal’s pool (the kibbutz hosted us free of charge!). This pool is, in fact, part of an outdoor recreation complex that offers a tranquil rural experience, with a variety of attractions and activities, such as a semi-Olympic pool, sauna and hot tub. Everyone enjoyed psychodrama, a movie, joint activities, eating Jahnun (pastry originating in Yemen) and the opportunity for a social gathering.

We were happy to see how everyone came back with a smile on their face and lots of energies for the next challenge in their life.

We wish them lots of success!
