‘Lamerhav’ recently launched a personal finance workshop for program participants at stage 3. The workshop is part of an extensive program assisting young adults with budgeting and money management, and includes 8 meetings. Participants will hear presentations by Adi Landau, Lamerhav’s CFO; Benny Shchory from ‘Time to Know’ – Social and Civil Enrichment. Also scheduled is a session with a ‘Lamerhav’ volunteer from Leumi Bank, who will present basic economic concepts, how we relate to money and the roots of that connection, how market forces influences us, financial ignorance and awareness, how to deal with banks, the importance of savings, budgeting, labor rights, how to be a smart consumer, and more.
